Fish Moilee (Kerala Stew)


Ingredients:

4 – 6 pieces of white fish ( Pomfret, Salmon, etc…,)

3 sprig curry leaves

1 cup thick coconut milk

1 ½ cup diluted coconut milk

1 tsp Mustard seeds

2 green chillies (Slit )

1 ½ tsp Ginger Garlic paste

1 cup coriander leaves

2 Big Onions (chopped)

1 Tbsp Oil

A pinch of turmeric powder

Salt & Pepper for Seasoning

Method:

Step 1 : Heat the oil , add ginger garlic paste and sauté for 2 minutes. Add chopped onions and sauté it till light brown (transparent)

Step 2 : Add curry leaves & mustard, sauté for 2 minutes.

Step 3 : Add diluted Coconut milk , turmeric powder, Fish Cuts & season it (with salt & pepper).

Step 4 : Add coriander leaves & green chilles. Bring it to boil, simmer it and cook it on slow fire for 15 minutes.

Step 5 : Add thick coconut milk, bring it to boil & finish it off by checking the seasoning.

Step 6 : Serve it with boiled rice.
