DIET CHICKEN SOUP


Existence of soup can be found as far back as about 6,000 BC. Commercial soup became popular with the invention of canning in the 19th century, and today a great variety of canned and dried soups are on the market. There are thousands different types of soups. But today I am sharing a healthy Diet Chicken Soup to keep ourselves fit. Below is the recipe. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

*1 Onion (Chopped)

* 750 ml boiling water

*250 grms chicken breast (shredded)

*1tsp olive Oil

* 150 ml Skimmed milk

* 2 pods garlic (chopped)

*1tsp Soya Sauce

*1 Tbsp chopped Parsley ( if not then you can use Coriander leaves)

*1/2 tsp Cinnamon Powder


Method:

Step 1 : Heat oil and fry onions till transparent.

Step 2 :Add chicken and fry till it turns color.

Step 3 : Add the soya sauce, cinnamon powder and chopped garlic and fry for another few minutes.

Step 4 : Pour the boiling water and slow cook for 1 hour.

Step 5 : Add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 6 : Mix skimmed milk with the soup and keep on very low flame for 10 minutes, do not let it boil.

Step 7 : Garnish with parsley/ coriander and serve hot.
