Prawns Pulao


Ingredients:

*1 kg prawns 1 kg basmati rice
*4 onions
*8 green chillies
*6 cloves
*6 cardamoms
*6 small cinnamon sticks
*Few bay leaves
*Few coriander leaves
*Few mint leaves
*2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
*Salt, chilli powder and turmeric as required
*1 cup milk
*1 cup oil or ghee

Method:

Step 1: Wash rice and strain water.

Step 2: Wash prawns and add Salt, chilli powder and turmeric and cook without water.

Step 3:
Heat oil in a pan and add 3 cloves, 3 cardamoms, 3 cinnamon sticks, bay leaves, half of mint leaves, green chillies, onions and ginger garlic paste, fry them until brown and add prawns and rice, stir well and add milk, water and salt and close the lid.

Step 4: Grind remaining cloves, cardamoms and cinnamon sticks to fine powder.

Step 5: Add this powder to the rice when it's half cooked. Add coriander and remaining mint leaves also, close the lid and cook again.
